Leave it to Lauren... No seriously, she's got it.

I love coffee because it gives me the energy to keep up with my busy schedule. I wear a lot of different hats between my job and being a full time student at Chapman - Lauren Jeworski, 23, Los Angeles

Meet this month's featured Babe, Lauren! At only twenty three, this LA-based babe is working a dream job as the online editor for LAPALME magazine, a high-end fashion editorial. She even landed the gig before graduating from college!

We sat down with the blonde beauty for a Q & A at one of Los Angeles’ most beloved coffee shops, Alfred Coffee. What did we find out? Lauren is not only stylish, driven, and gorgeous (inside and out), but she is also CAFFEINATED.

Get to know Lauren!

Give us five words that describe you:

(Com)Passionate, Driven, Intuitive, Humorous, Bubbly

Favorite coffee shop: Philz Coffee downtown Palo Alto

I love it because it is one of the places that I grew to love coffee, especially their Mint Mojito... It is in the same neighborhood where big companies like Facebook have started so it is pretty surreal to sit in that environment!

Coffee preference: LOTS OF MILK AND SUGAR!

How did you end up working at LAPALME?

I first met Derek Warburton (owner of LAPALME) while I was traveling in New York City. We got to talking as we were sitting at a table away from each other at Cipriani’s in SoHo and exchanged contact information. He told me he was looking for a new assistant, and I told him I was actually in the process of job searching in LA. We exchanged a few text messages and eventually hopped on a call. He took a chance and hired me, and I moved to Hollywood two weeks later. Just at the same time when I started working for him, Derek became the creative director and co-owner of LAPALME Magazine.

What has been the best part of working for a high fashion magazine?

It has opened a lot of doors for me. I was the one who secured Annalynne McCord for our first female cover by starting a conversation with her. She gave me her number, and she loved the idea of being on our cover. From then on, I have helped style every other LAPALME Magazine cover with Derek.

Flash forward five years… where do you see yourself?

I would love to see myself continuing my work in the fashion industry. I don’t know exactly what part within the industry I’ll be working in, whether it is writing, styling or advertising. I want to be in a place where I am completely loving my life and loving what I’m doing... I have never seen myself as the type of person who would be sitting behind a desk at a 9-5 job.

Who/What Inspires you?

My mom inspires me. Not because that is the answer that first comes to my mind but because it is true. She raised two children, my brother and me, almost completely on her own. She exemplifies what it means to love unconditionally and without limits. There are few people that you meet that are gorgeous on the outside and even more beautiful on the inside. My mom is one of those individuals. If I am half the person she is, I’ll know I have done something right.

What would you define as a Babe with Coffee?

A babe with coffee is Jacqueline Clark...seriously though! She is hardworking, beautiful and someone I want to be friends with. She enjoys a good conversation and spending time with meaningful individuals.
